Hi,
Does anyone know if you can some how export Air Quality reports from a 5508? I'm pretty sure I have read that we can not look back in time at the Air Quality report from the WLC, but can from NCS. If NCS was in the picture, can the Air Qaulity Report somehow be exported?
Thanks in advance for your thoughts/inputs.

Eric:
NCS stores all the history information for your WLCs. So sure you can export the AQ report.
Look here: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/wireless/ncs/1.0/configuration/guide/reps.html#wp1091099

Thank you for your response, and I will agree with you. It would be nice to have historical and exportable AQ reports right from the WLC. Sounds like a marketing pitch to buy the NCS.

The controllers don't have much in terms of flash based storage, hence why the historical data is stored in NCS. It's not really marketing, it's more of a technical issue.
That said there isn't anything stopping you from getting the data out of the WLC using the CLI and some scripts.
One could have a script that runs every 5 minutes or so and runs the CLI commands, parsing the output, and storing the data in a DB allowing you to get all the historical data you wanted without NCS.
