Export SSC (self signed certificate) from WLC

Hi Guys, 

is there a way i can export the self signed certificate from the WLC. Customer wants to sign the exported certificate from their server and import back to controller so that there wont be a trust deficit between the controller and the client PC using to access the web GUI of the controller. I read an discussion regarding using open ssl for this. But just wanted to be sure if any other method is available to address this.

Hi Arjun,

I don't think this is possible without a CSR function on the WLC. What you can do is have a certificate signed by your intermediate/root CA and import that into the WLC to replace the existing one used for the web GUI.
