We have an 877w and we'd like to extend the wireless range. What's the best option for this.

I don't think you really can extend the coverage unless you change out the antennas to a higher gain. However, this will only gain you a little better coverage especailly in an SOHO environment. You would have to add access point and run them back to the 877w. I have an 877w at home and I have changed the antennas just to help get better signal... not much of better coverage.

I know Linksys to a Range Extender. The range extender only needs to be within range of the 877w and it transmits just like another router.
I find it bizarre Cisco don't offer a similar product, given their relationship to Linksys.
