I’m currently using the WLC internal DHCP to provide ip addresses for a subset of laptops. Moving forward I will need to be able to use our main DHCP server on our network as I need to be able to register them on our AD/DNS and manage them accordingly with gpo's and the like just for this SSID. I do have a some other SSIDs that I do require to use the Internal DHCP on the controller.
Presently I have allocated a external DHCP server for a Vlan on the controller within the gui Interface setup, but it is unable to acquire an ip address. Is there anything else I need to do, I can forward the config if required. Do I need a dhcp helper on the switch.
