Hi,
I have a strange issue on a wlan which configured for Flexconnect local switching whereby, if I have two clients connected to the same AP they are able to ping each other. However, if one client then roams to another AP the communication stops working between the clients. Both clients are able to ping their default gateway when associated to their respective AP's.
The physical topology is all located at the same site , the APs are all connected to the same switch, and the ports are configured as trunk ports.
All APs are tagging the same data vlan (30).
This needs to work as we are trialing VOIP handsets soon where call will be made at the same site as well as to other sites.
Has anyone encountered this issue before and if so, maybe offer some advice as to why this is happening along with a possible remedy?
Thanks
Scott

Software version is 8.3.112.0 and AP model 3802.
There are lot of issues with 2800/3800 with currently available WLC softwware versions.
I would upgrade firmware to 8.3.122.0 & see if issue persistent (If that does not fix, I would test with 8.2.160.0 code as well)

Even after those codes versions you have same issue, I would go for TAC support

I do not thinks, I can do it. Hopefully cisco admin person can do it
