Hello Guys,
We have newly deployed cisco 9800 WLC. Here we have created DHCP pool for each WLAN. DHCP scopes is configured in WLC and gateway of all dhcp are also set in the WLC. But when we try to set manual/static ip instead of DHCP on the Wireless Adapter on any device, it does not work. I mean it can not even reach the gateway. What could be the issue? What settings should change from WLC?
N.B : WLAN - Test
Network - 172.16.1.0/24
DHCP Excluded address - 172.16.1.1-10

I hope you did not enable "DHCP Required" under Policy Profile -> Advanced configuration menu.
Do you have any SVI configured for wireless vlan on your 9800 ?

@Rasika Nayanajith Thanks a lot. It was a silly mistake from me. DHCP required was enabled by default. After deselecting it worked.
