I have a Dell Inspiron 8100 with a TrueMobile 1150 PC Card. After some hunting I was able to find and install the appropriate Windows XP driver and utility program. I bought a Linksys WRT54GS wireless router, and I succeeded in getting it set up so that the Dell is able to share internet access.
Now my problem - my daughter also needs to use the Dell laptop at my sister-in-law's house with a similar set-up. They have a Linksys WRT54G (no S - the SpeedBooster model wasn't in stock when this was purchased.) My wife set it up, and two desktop PCs that are in ports 1 and 2 (wired) are sharing the internet fine. On the Dell, the TrueMobile utility program shows that it has detected the network and has a strong signal, but it won't go out to the internet.
Any ideas if we are missing something or what we might try?
