Good Day,

I have a client with WLC:

AIR-CT5508-K9

ver: 8.5.161.0

The Guest portal does not open in MS Edge & Google Chrome - however it does open in "older" Internet Explorer.

Any ideas

To resolve this issue, you need to install a public certificate for the webauth portal:

agree with Sandeep

Also believe the public cert now needs to have a time length on <367 days (ie 1 year) as well.

Same even if using passthrough that the site needs public cert.

Also make sure your virtual IP is not 1.1.1.1

Thanks, please excuse my ignorance the Guest portal is indeed using (in this case) VIP 2.2.2.2 - if I may why should this not be the case?
