Help please with Aironet 1200 (AP1220B)

Hello,

I need help with a 1200 series Aironet. When doing a SH IP INT BRIEF it is showing RESET on the Dot1Radio0 interface.

Dot11Radio0 Status reset

What does this mean? and how to I initiate this interface? is it because I do not have the extended radio antenna plugged in?

I have consoled into the second WAP with IP 10.188.100.5 and it is not showing this problem.

Could it be that 10.188.100.6 has a damaged or malfunctioning radio antenna?

Hi!

Please check the station role; it should be Root or Access point on the AP and SSID is enabled on the radio.

If SSID is configured and role is set as desired, do a hard reset on the AP and see if it helps.

Check the LED status as well. Review the link for LED indication:
