Hello
Does anyone have an idea on how to block internet sharing from a Cisco wireless controller?
Practically, I have one SSID for the hotspot, where clients connect through a captive portal.
I would like to prevent users from sharing the internet after they log in.
thanks

If the end device is a company managed device you can configure the device to disable wifi sharing. However there no real methods to do this for Guest.
There are the T&C, you could force re-auth in shorter times.
I would ask why are they sharing, is it because access is a pain via the captive portal? Maybe an easier Guest access like openroaming would stop them.
As an FYI Marriott Hotel in the US blocked mobile hotspots using WIPS and got a 600k fine for it from the FCC. So don’t go down that path

Hi
I was wondering if it is possible to block the sharing of the connection after logging in to a payment capital portal
