High latency in wireless signal using CAP702I and WLC 8.1.102.0

Hello,

I'm facing a problem with cap702i the ping response is very important around 400ms even the access point is too close and i set the data rate to start 

from 5.5 every things set up as it should be  please any help? to get back to the 400 ms

when we put the charger the ping goes ok until we remove it

i tried many ios starting 7.6.130 to this version but no hope .

Do you have any other AP model to test this to see if it is only happen with 702i

Thanks for you reply .acually i used to work with 1041N model and it was ok but since we try the cap702i model i face many issue starting with DTLS problem ending with this issue.for your question i did not test another model frankly but i test many access point with this model.

Hi dridi,

can you plz explain that how did you deployed this AP, is this connected to a POE switch or using power injector?

try to check the ethernet cable test if it is connected through a switch!

hi,

the ap is connected to POE switch (2960) and for the cable actually even when two laptops are in the same Vlan the same problem occur since i make sure to use the localy switched function i assumed that there is no thing wrong with the cable.
