How can I view / monitor installed Access points?

Is there a freeware SW to view installed access points ?

 - Not possible with freeware , look into Cisco Prime.

What exactly are you wanting to do?

What model APs and WLCs are you running.

I have installed AIR-AP38021-E-K9 and just would check which are on or failed, transmitting or not.
All other infos could be an optional plus.

Do you have a WLC in use or using Mobility Express? 

In either web interface you see all the currently connected APs. You don't have a history though.
