How do I export controllers in GUI in Prime Infrastructure 2.0

You mean controller config ? or something else. 

what is the requirement ?

Well I know under monitor maps you can export the maps ,I was told you can also export the information backup of controllers

we are going to be upgrading to 2.1 then 2.2

If you do not care about historical data, I suggest you to simply export maps and then import it to fresh install of PI 2.2 or 3.0.

If you like to take a backup and restore, refer the below. There is no separate option for export/import controller configuration to PI.
