How do I turn on the web interface for a Cisco 1852e AP?

I am not too experienced with the Cisco CLI and would like to access my 1852e AP through the http interface. I can SSH into the AP but after initial setup cannot access Mobility Express through http. Is there a way to turn on http on this device?

Sorry man, I totally confised with IOS. Mobility express is totally diferente. This is meant to unbox, plug power. The SSID CiscoAirProvision pop up and by connecting to this, you get an AP through DHCP. Then, you point you browser to 192.168.1.1 and you should get the the Mobility Express page.

In your case, when you pointed to 192.168.1.1 you got an error?

Hello,

It is very unusual an AP with no web interface, unless someone disabled it.

 Anyway, try the command:

Ip http server

Let me know it that works, if not, give us more detail.

Good luck.

I agree, but I don't see how to enable it. That command is not available.

No, this worked the first time and I configured the AP but after the initial configuration the web interface is not available. If I browse to the IP the page doesn't load. The AP is up and running but I would like to modify the configuration and I cannot access the web interface.

a bit late, but:

after configuration and restart

config network webmode enable

maybe other people have the same issue...

Same problem, and i was stucked since 2 days. Finally the command line "config network webmode enable" worked well, and i finally manage to connect to my web interface. The firmware of my AP is AIR-AP1815-K9-ME-8.8.111.0. Thanks a lot
