Well, the association limit per access point defaults to 255 :) But I'm guessing you're more interested in what's feasible.
Cisco recommends no more than 25 clients associated to a single radio. Again, more can connect, but the wireless overhead and bandwidth sharing really starts weighing heavy on the clients as their number increases beyond 25.
