How to change antenna parameters setting on IW-9167?

Hi All,

I have 2 IW-9167 that are connected to catalyst 9800 WLC, but apparently both are having two different settings on the antenna parameters for the MIMO function which are having 4x4 and 2x2. Is there any way that i can change those settings?

Details are attached below,
Thank you.

Is it a POE switch or power injector? Is it only 30W POE+ capable or is it UPOE/802.3bt capable? If a UPOE/bt switch, ensure that CDP (or LLDP) are enabled on the port.

If it’s not UPOE or bt capble, you’ll have to get a UPOE power injector such as the Cisco IW-PWRINJ-60RGDMG= or the TRENDnet TPE-119GI (ruggedized models probably exist from other manufacturers as well if needed). The TRENDnet one works well for our 1562 APs. You can put a UPOE/bt injector in front of a lower power POE switch port if needed.

No, you need to provide the correct power source for the AP as @eglinsky2012 already explained!

How are they powered? Note that 48W (UPOE/802.3bt or DC power) are required for 4x4 operation per the power draw in the datasheet:

Hi,

Thanks for the reply, yes both are powered by different source, the one on 2x2 are powered by PoE and 4x4 are powered by DC.

Can we forcefully change it? cause we need to meet this requirement in the field.

Thank you in advance.

Its a PoE Switch which is IE-3300-8P2S.

Is there a way to make the 4x4 to 2x2 operation with the same power input?
