Hi One of AP is 1140. I want to connect it to another vendor AP. After setting AP1140 with workgroup bridge mode, how to confirm the connection between two AP work well? Do we have specific commands for it?

Thank you

Yes you can make WGB work with other vendor.

int do0
       station-role workgroup-bridge universal <wired device mac-address>

Thank you Flavio!

I could not get any info after using that command. It means it does not associate yet.

Here is my topology: AP1140 as autonomous mode is trying to connect another vendor AP which has internet connection. I am trying let the PC behind the AP1140 can access internet.  I logon to the AP1140, and I cannot see any signal which is coming from that vendor AP. Do you think it is possible for the PC access internet by these device without any configuration on that vendor AP?

If you do not see any SSID with show dot11 associations then probably this is not going to work. Honestly I have never tried with different vendor.

The problem with WGB is that it rely on the Access Point Protocol (IAPP) messaging and probably they will not inter-operate between different vendor.

You can try this command on the Cisco AP

debug dot11dot11 0 trace print uplink

Can we think the link can adapt for both Cisco Ap1140 as WGB and anther vendor AP as root?
