I am trying to disable 802.11n access to the guest WLAN (SSID "open"). I tried to configure the WLAN with 802.11g access only but "n" clients are still able to connect. I'm extremely green when it comes to wireless config so I'm way out of my element here. I've attached a picture of what I thought should have done the trick. Any suggestions?

What you can do is go to your WLAN SSID and under the QoS feature, disable WMM. WMM is required for 802.11N support... Test is out and hopefully that solves your issue.

Disabling WMM, as Scott suggested, should do the trick.

Scott,
That did the trick. All the "n" connections dropped and reconnected via "g". Thanks for your help.

That solved an issue I had.
Was not able to make 802.11n working at all.
You aimed me at the right direction.
Thank you so much.

Thanks Vinay!!! I have seen more lately which is a good thing. I too use the search and reference older threads, but glad to see that others actually who don't really post on the forums find it useful. Now if I can get my peers to search the forum instead of emailing me, life would be good:)
