Hi,

I need to build a Dos Bootdisc with the driver for the Aironet 340 card. I downloaded the zip.file from the cisco homepage and got 3 files out of it. 1).com 2).ini 3) .ahc

But how do I include them in the bootdisc? Thanks for your help.

Bye Markus

These drivers are left over from Aironet pre-Cisco acquisition so there’s not much documentation. I don’t see DOS support for the 350’s but the 340’s are still out there. In any case, edit the .ini or .ahc (ad hoc file is only used if no access point is being used, just peer-to-peer) files with your text editor to set the options you desire. Then put those and the .com packet driver on your boot disk, load the .com with a device statement in the cofig.sys and it should initialize the card. If you are using a PCMCIA card, make sure you load a DOS compatible card services BUS driver first.
