How to remove Wireless Clients from Exclustion list/ Black list in Mobility Express

HI

Im using Cisco 1830 Mobility Express. I have 2 SSID, Guest and Corporate.

Yesterday due to power maintenance WLC got restarted and another AP became Controller.
Next day, few common Guest users (Employee Cellphone users) failed to authenticate and they tired to authenticate using unknown passwords. now after several wrong attempts, they seems black listed.

How can i remove them from that Exclusion list ? WLC is not allowing them to join the Guest SSID.

I dont find any tab from Mobility Express Dashboard.

Thank you

ARIQ

You cna do it from CLI of the MObility express controller:

Delete the mac address from the list:

config exclusionlist delete <mac address>

Disable Client exclusing from WLC:

(WLC) >config wlan exclusionlist [wlan-id] disabled}

Thanks for quick response,

When I created a Exclusion enviornment by giving wrong password for guest ssid,Output shows it was dynamic. Looks like it takes 180 seconds to resolve the issue. I tired to delete that during that time. but I failed.

(Cisco Controller) >show exclusionlist

No manually disabled clients.

Dynamically Disabled Clients
----------------------------
MAC Address                                    Exclusion Reason              Time Remaining (in secs)
----------- ---------------- ------------------------

c0:9a:d0:30:xx:yy                              802.1X Failure                            146

(Cisco Controller) >config exclusionlist delete c0:9a:d0:30:xx:yy

exclusion-list entry provided is unrecognized.

For manual entry, i tried to add a mac in the exclustion list and wanted to delete it. (for R&D Purpose). again failed.

(Cisco Controller) >config exclusionlist add c0:9a:d0:30:xx:yy ARIQ-IPHONE

Unable to add MAC entry to database.

any idea whats wrong here ?

Thanks/ ARIQ

Could be a firmware bug, which version are you running?

Software Version

8.5.135.0
Model: AIR-AP1852I-C-K9
Do i have to disable Radio/WLAN in order to make mentioned above changes ?

Typically you don't have for the exclusion list (on a WLC).
I suggest you first try an upgrade to the latest 8.5.151.0 build, which has a lot of bugfixes.
