I was looking at the Cisco website and wondering if HWIC-AP-AG-x works on the New Cisco 2900 Series and 3900 Series Routers. The webpage doesn't show Cisco 2900 and Cisco 3900 support, which is unusual.
Has anyone used HWIC-AP-AG-x with 2900 or 3900 Series?
thanks

The new Cisco 2900 and 3900 Series Integrated Services Routers support the Cisco Wireless LAN Controller Network Module for controlling networks of access points using the Lightweight Access Point Protocol (LWAPP). The supported wireless LAN controller modules support 8, 12, or 25 access points (part numbers NME-AIR-WLC8, NME-AIR-WLC12, and NME-AIR-WLC25,).

Are you trying to say that HWIC-AP-AG-X will not work on the cisco 2900 series, i was making a
solution for small branch router and proposing to use this card, so that everything is integrated for a branch which has user base of less than 10 users for each site. what is the alternate ?

Correct. HWIC-AP-AG is not supported in ISR G2. NME-AIR-WLCn is supported in the ISR G2 range (except for the 860/880/890).
