I accidentally added an interface to the wrong interface group

Interface abc to our guest interface group.  I tried disabling the abc WLAN and then removing it from the group but that didnt work.  Im still get the error "Interface group is being used by WLAN"

What do I need to do to remove this interface?

Temporary map different interface to WLAN (under AP group & global WLAN config) & then go under interface group & remove the unwanted interface. Then you can remap the interface group to the WLAN

Hi @Rasika Nayanajith

What is the impact of perform the suggested action?

I assuming that this will lead to WLAN being unavailable while the interface group is remapped causing outage!

Yes obviously so should be done during a maintenance window @magNHS

Hi

Hopefully you dont have this interface group added to many AP group . I did the same mistake already and I had the interface group  in about 100 AP groups. I had to use a spreadsheet to run all AP group deleting and interface group. Then taking off on interface and adding the interface group back in all AP groups again.
