I am unable to access the AIR CAP2702I-E-K9 using PuTTY via the console cable. I can access other devices, but even after performing the reset using the mode button, it didn't work. Is there anything more specific required to access this equipment?

Hi @drinith
Ap does not accept all cables. I went through it before. You need to test another console cable and see if works

Like Flavio said Cisco APs are very fussy about the console cables - were those other devices also Cisco Access Points or something else?
Generally it's best to use a cable with genuine FTDI chip (counterfeits usually do not work).
I use https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07MYQPYKR but other similar cables should work too. Check reviews to make sure the cable you choose has been tested by somebody with a Cisco Access Point - that's the only way to be sure it will work.
