Ok, let's do this the easy way.
If autonomous IOS is what you want the AP to boot up with, the easiest (and fastest) way to get this running is to format the flash of the AP (Command: format flash:).
Once the format is complete load the autonomous IOS using the Mode Button method.

Post the complete output to the command "set".

Hi Leo, here is the output:

What image/IOS do you want the IOS to boot?
08-22-2016 05:56 PM
I'd like to use ap1g2-k9w7-mx.153-3.JD. In fact, I tried before to use it, but it didn't work (I used this command: set BOOT flash:/ap1g2-k9w7-mx.153-3.JD/ap1g2-k9w7-mx.153-3.JD if you are wondering), so I tried with ap1g2-k9w7-mx.152-4.JB6 and it appeared to be a problem while extracting files due to space in flash.
08-22-2016 06:00 PM
BOOT=flash:/ap1g2-k9w7-mx.152-4.JB6/ap1g2-k9w7-mx.152-4.JB6
Currently, the AP is instructed to boot this file (above). One way of forcing the AP to another IOS is to delete the file specified in the boot variable statement.
Command: delete flash:/ap1g2-k9w7-mx.152-4.JB6/ap1g2-k9w7-mx.152-4.JB6
Once this command is entered the IOS file gets deleted. The AP will now be forced to boot the next available IOS, ap1g2-k9w7-mx.152-4.JB6.
Post the entire bootup process. I want to see where the AP is failing.

Leo, I get this when I try to delete the file:
ap:
ap: delete flash:/ap1g2-k9w7-mx.152-4.JB6/ap1g2-k9w7-mx.152-4.JB6
Are you sure you want to delete "flash:/ap1g2-k9w7-mx.152-4.JB6/ap1g2-k9w7-mx.152-4.JB6" (y/n)?y
File "flash:/ap1g2-k9w7-mx.152-4.JB6/ap1g2-k9w7-mx.152-4.JB6" not deleted -- no such file or directory

Hi Leo:
The format flash: command helped me to get free space in flash again. I could extract ap1g2-k9w7-mx.153-3.JD and after boot process the AP is in autonomous mode and working fine, as I wanted. Thanks a lot for your help.
