Hi All,
I have to try and reuse a Cisco 2602i AP, it was a lightweight AP before on the original controller however I effectively want to reuse it by attaching it to another controller. The difficulty is I do not have access to the original WLC nor do I know any login credentials for the AP.
Do I have any way of using the CLI to blank these or a way of attaching it to the new controller (which is undoubtedly in a different VLAN) so it picks it up and I can then change the details from there?
Any suggestions welcome!
Thanks in advance,
Chris

step 1 Disconnect power (the power jack for external power or the Ethernet cable for in-line power) from the access point.
Step 2 Press and hold the MODE button while you reconnect power to the access point.
Step 3 Hold the MODE button until the Status LED turns amber (approximately 1 to 2 seconds), and release the button. All access point settings return to factory defaults.
Cisco/Cisco as credentials to login via console

Use DHCP Option 43 to point the 2602 to the new controller.
