Due to some compatibility issues with newer wireless clients, I decided to upgrade my WLC to the latest firmware 7.3.112. During the upgrade the WLC bombs out at:
Writing new RTOS to flash disk.
I lose console access and on the controller the sys and alarm LEDs are amber. After a hard reset the WLC crashes at:
Verifying boot loader integrity...
And I lose console access.
Is there anyway to reset this sucker back to factory defaults? Thankfully I did backup my config prior to the upgrade attempt. Is there a way to recover from this or has my controller given up the ghost?

During the initial boot up, can you hit the esc key or does it not even get you that far. You should see something in which you can break out during the boot up. Try that and you can change the boot up image.

I don't think I get that far but I'll try again.
Edit: No dice. It doesn't even get that far. Looks like the image is corrupted.
