In the 3802me system, there is no roaming. With two 3802me systems, there is no roaming, and for both 2.4G and 5G, the internet connection drops when the signal is very weak, with no roaming action taking place. How can this issue be resolved?

Hello

You may want to verify the following:

  • Are both AP3802's mirrors of ME; if so, are they working independently and not registering one join to another AP3802 as a ME controller? — If so, consider registering one of the APs with the AP that is the ME controller to roam.

Best practices for ME can be found at the following links:

If the APs are configured correctly then roaming is a client decision.

- Check the wireless coverage (site survey)
- Make sure the client OS and drivers are up to date.
- Check the client driver configuration - for example Intel drivers allow to configure roaming aggressiveness and band preference along with other options.
