Increasing wifi coverage across small campus.

We have a campus with a handful of buildings that have limited wifi coverage - quite a few spots in various buildings where laptops lose connectivity. I'm looking to employ some wireless voip so need to get rid of these blackspots. I'd like to make use of a YDI 180 degree LP14 antenna (possibly with an amplified signal) in order to blast the signals across the campus and hopefully get rid of the areas that have dodgy coverage.

I don't want to lay any cat5 to do this. However, the best place for the LP14 antenna is on a building that doesn't have any wired connectivity and has very bad wifi coverage though. Lets call this building "A".

Is it possible to set up a directional antenna off an access point at building "B" pointing at "A" and then having the YDI antenna blasting this signal back across the campus?

I have a Aironet 350 Bridge and two Aironet 340 APs, one with replacable antenna. Can I make this happen with those parts?

Many thanks.

Having done a little more research it looks like I should be able to set the Aironet 340AP as a Root Access Point with a directional antenna pointing at the Aironet 350 Bridge acting as a Repeater Access Point.

The 350BR will have a directional antenna pointing back at the 340AP on the primary antenna port and the sector antenna pointing back across the campus.

I should have done more research before asking the initial question, but would my current idea be workable?
