Industrial Strength Access Point???

I've been researching the differences between the 3 AP series offered by Cisco (350,1100,1200), and I can't find any information on which model is the most rugged and whether any of the boxes offer any sort of rugged accessories.

The application is specifically for a very dusty environment (cabinet manufacturing facility), as well as outdoor usage, as well. I had heard of other vendors offering some kind of mounting box which further protects the AP's, but can't find anything on Cisco's site. Anyone know of anything like this?

I can see that there is a 352 "rugged" model, but is this the only option? I kind of like the upgrade ability of the 1200 series, but the pictures make it look so flimsy...same goes for the 1100's.

Thoughts? Feedback?

Thanks,

Ed

We use NEMA ( national electrical manufacture Association) rated boxes for mounting the AP-1200 units in an outdoor environment. you can find theses boxes at http://www.hoffmanonline.com/

We selected a plasic all weather box so we could use the 802.11a module. For the 11b we are using external squint ant.

We have tried to verfy if the boxes were RF transparent ( for the 11a mod.), hoffman has not tested them for RF use.
