Lost authentication with parent

Hi, I've got two bridges installed and working for a couple of months now.

Two weeks ago I've started to have some communication problems with the remote bridge sometimes losing connection for about 1 minute or two.

The event that appears in the event log is:

"Warning: Lost authentication with parent"

Can anyone tell me what kind of troubleshooting can I do to identify precisely what is the problem?

This might be caused by interference. Check the cables and antennas to make sure they are in good working condition. Check to see if there is anything obstructing the antennas. You could try changing the channel on the root bridge to anything besides auto detect. The default channel it listens to is channel 6. The only way to actually see if there is radio interference is to do a spectrum analysis.
