Finlay i downgrade bootloader to oldest i can find 2016Y (version 1.06) don't know why number look 1.6

Cisco disable (or remove?) prog_pid from latest U-Boot .

I don’t think you will find that answer here. The ones that can answer that question is most likely the BU and dev’s and typically they will just tell you to replace it. Seems like if the ap reboots, you will end up where you first started. I personally wouldn’t waste my time on that faulty ap anymore.

Just to add, the ap you have is defective and will no longer function.  Since you don't have support, then recycle it and find another replacement AP to purchase and to use.

ooooo thanks for genius advice throw away my ap

I'm in the same position.  I have a 1562I that is stuck on boot every time.  The AP is "Out of Warranty" so I really don't have anything to lose at this point.  The best part about this is this was an AP that we just pulled off of the shelf (new) as a spare to replace a dead AP and it failed on boot.  I don't have the CRC errors.  I can work through the process of reflashing the u-boot however I'm unable to find the any old files.  I'd like to get my hands on version 1.06 however it doesn't appear to be posted anywhere that I'm able to find.  Can someone point me in the right direction to this version that has the progpid in it?

1.06 in very old tar firmware. so - download them and find way to extract.  hope this clear.
