Interface Dot11Radio0, Deauthenticating - Reassociating

I have a Cisco AP1100

A user is connecting a workstation via a linksys Instant Wireless USB Network Adapter.

I set it up with open authentication with MAC addess filtering. I took off the MAC address filtering and get the same error.

At first I though it was the "low" signal. I since got an extension and got line of site with "very good" signal and same issue exists.

Here is the event log

Any thoughts?

This could be due to some RF issues in your environment.

I have the same issue with our AP 350's running IOS. For some reason, clients keep being deauthenticated. In my case, it's always for excessive retries. This happens with Prism and Orinocio (hermes) cards, I use long headers/preamble.

The detailed stats for the radio show lots of retries and excessive retries even when the clients are only 10ft from the AP. I tried the latest firmware, 12.2.(15) , reset to factory defaults, set to long headers, and the problem persits. I can get cards to loose their association every minute or so simply be running any application that streams data.

Cisco cards to better. But my older Cisco Aironet cards, like the 4800 series TurboDS cards, work for a while but cause the AP to crash. None of these problems existed before moving to IOS.
