Hi,

Could anybody explain what for virtual radio interface is used on AP 1100 with IOS, and what is the difference between real radio interface and corresponding virtual interface? There is no description on this command in the documentation besides of mentioning the fact that this IOS command is supported The search on Cisco site did not bring up any useful information as well.

Thank you!

Use the infrastructure-client configuration interface command to configure a virtual interface for a workgroup bridge client. Use the no form of the command to disable the workgroup bridge client virtual interface.

This is dynamically created when the AP is configured for infrastructure client mode.

When debugging the virtual interface the management traffics are not included.

Thank you! This was very helpful.

Hi,

I am wondering how to remove this virtual-dot11radio interface from my access points. I already tried the command no-infrastructure client on my device but the virtual interface remains, any ideas?
