Hi,

your AP may have installed lightweight OS. check OS version in AP

Please rate this and mark as solution/answer, if this resolved your issue

A lightweight AP cannot be configured like an AP running autonomous IOS.

All config is done on the WLC (controller) only.

The AP runs CAPWAP and connects to the WLC to get config, IOS etc.

If you want to use the AP in autonomous mode search "convert lightweight ap to autonomous"
