iPhone internet speed limitation

I have 1832i AP with a WLC 2504, if use a Macbook to test internet speed via speedtest.net, it could reach 90Mbps, but use iPhone to test, it only could do 60-65Mbps, totally have no idea why? iperf test in LAN could reach 400mbps without problem. 

P.S. Use another UBNT AP do the same test, internet test speed test will reach 90Mbps by using iPhone.

Hi

As you can see below you are getting MCS3 rate (60Mbps) with Cisco & MCS4 rate (90Mbps) with UBNT AP.

This is depend on the SNR and I would check both cases client is having similar SNR. Refer this link for what SNR required for achieve different MCS rates.

Hi, Rasika, you ignore the iperf test, it could do 400mbps without any problem.
