Hello everybody,
I'm part of a researcher group that focuses on indoor localization methods. We would like to use the WiFi FTM protocol to measure the distance between an access point and another device (i.e. Android smartphone, https://developer.android.com/guide/topics/connectivity/wifi-rtt). Both devices (Access Point and smartphone) must provide support for the WiFi FTM protocol.
Is there any Cisco Access Point that supports the FTM protocol and can act as FTM responder?
Kind regards

Is there any update on Cisco or Meraki support of FTM feature or alternative.

I've never heard Cisco Meraki talking about FTM, so I would say it is extremely unlikely.

There are now four Cisco APs that support FTM: 9130, 9136, 9164, 9166
This are listed on the Android FTM supported AP list: https://developer.android.com/guide/topics/connectivity/wifi-rtt#supported-a
Contact Cisco for additional information about enabling FTM in the controller for an installation.
