ISE 1.4 Licensing

What are the options for licensing ISE 1.4 when upgrading from 1.2?  I am confused with Advanced versus Plus and APEX.  Did Advanced go away and get replaced by both Plus and APEX?  In order to get the same features as Advanced to you need Plus and APEX?

You are right, the advanced license was "split" into Plus and APEX. If you already have advanced licenses, you"ll have the same feature set after the upgrade as before. But someone who needs to buy the license now  can choose to take Plus and/or APEX.

Karsten I appreciate the information.  Does the APEX license have the same features as the Plus with additional functionality?  I just want to make sure if we should be purchasing both the Plus and the APEX to get the same features as Advanced.

You need both to have the old Advanced functionality. For example: Profiling is only in PLUS, Posture is only in APEX.
