Issue with Access Points Functioning as Repeaters Post-Update

Repeater-mode
Community Member

Hi all,

Following the latest update, some of the APs have unexpectedly transitioned into repeater mode. Despite performing reboots on the affected units, the problem persists, with the APs persistently acting as repeaters.

This deviation from their prior functionality is concerning, especially considering that all units were operating correctly before the update.

I'm reaching out to inquire if any of you have encountered similar challenges post-update. Please share any observations or suggestions you might have regarding this matter.

It's 4 out of 187 AP's acting this way..

I suggest you open a support case.

I am not a Cisco employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.

Please, if this post was useful, leave your kudos and mark it as solved.

Perhaps disable Meshing on the Network-Wide configuratino page, if you don't want Meraki to automatically mesh incase of missing uplink connection.
