We have one wireless controller(Cisco 4400 series - 4402) with software version 5.1.151.0 and two access point's (Product ID AIR-LAP1131AG-N-K9 and Software Version 5.1.151.0) when we connect Ipad with IOS ver 6.0.1 ,ver 6.1.2 to above mentioned access point it takes IP address but does not show any signal strength but Ipads with IOS version 5.1.1 ,Firmware :1.0.11 are working fine.

Pease  SHARE if there are any compatibility issues and suggest a suitable solution.

Hello,

Hi Which encryption are you using for those Apple clients?

This is because Apple doesn't recommend to use old encryption methods such as WPA1 (TKIP)+PSK or WEP.

The problem only occurs with those productcs?

I have to mention that 5.1.151.0 is a very old code, you migh start considering moving to the latest code 7.0.240

Here are the release notes so you can take a look:

Here is a link from apply about the recommendations for wireless networks:

I hope this helps you.

Avoid running the 5.X firmware at all cost.  It's has been awarded the "buggiest" wireless firmware as to date.
