I recently started to see the following alert on some of the 4404-100s that I have deployed.
Free memory of system is below 100MB
From what I can see on some of the message discussion boards, this is an alert only message. I would like to get clarification that this will not cause operational issues with the controller.
I did try to change the free memory by using the command
config memory monitor leaks 10000 300000
but then I get a response about core dumps and the alerts do not go away. Any suggestions?

What is your logging level?
If the message appears with loggin level "Errors" then you need to give it more inspection.
If the information only appears with debugging, warnings or informational logging level then it can be ignored since the message is inoly informational.
That also depends on which software versoin you use. which one you use?
When the message appears, how many APs and clients are on your network (on average)?
You want to say "Thank you"?
Don't. Just rate the useful answers,
that is more useful than "Thank you".
