Good day,
I have been running into several issues after upgrading the software on my catalyst 9120 AP that came with ewc version 17.6.4.
I upgraded the version via the http option on the GUI, and after I did, I could not reach the management interface anymore or ping the gig0 interface.
I proceeded to do a day 0 reset but now cannot get to the management interface of the controller. I also noticed that air provision ssid is not showing up which is how i initially configured the ewc when I first set it up with the original software version.
I have tried ignoring the initial config script and configuring it manually as well as using the initial config script but I still cannot seem to get to the management interface. I also cannot see the wlan I set up with the initial configuration script after it is done building the configuration
Does anyone know what is going on.
Thank you

- Do you still have console access and set the baud rate to 115200 bps

Yes I have console access through putty after setting the baud rate to 115200, but no configuration that I try will get me into the management web GUI after setting the ip and netmask through the console.

- What happens then ? Do you have a screenshot of the problem situation (e.g.) ?

If it's in an unrecoverable state (and I have seen this happen a few times with EWC upgrades) then use https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/wireless/catalyst-9120axi-access-point/217537-repairing-c9120-c9115-access-points-from.html to completely re-flash the AP to 8.10.130.0 CAPWAP image then upgrade to 8.10.196.0 CAPWAP image 15.3(3)JK11 then upgrade to 17.6.8 CAPWAP image 15.3(3)JPK9 then convert to the 17.15.2 EWC.
It's a pain going through all the steps but seems to be more reliable.

Hey!
Thank you very much for the reply
I was able to factory reset the ewc to day 0, however no configuration that I do lets me get into the management UI. I t is also exhibiting strange behavior in that it does not broadcast a wireless network with the last portion of the MAC address when it boots to the day 0 cli, which is how i initially set up the ewc in the first place.
I will give that method I try. I opened a support ticket with cisco, but all the suggestions so far dont seem to be working and im getting annoyed lol.
Cheers
