Issues with local webauth on 5760

Hi all,

I am currently trying to get local webauth running on the 5760, but the client always get stuck at WEBAUTH_PEND.

I ensured the following things:
Definition of local guest user
Setting up AAA authentication parameter
Setting up AAA credential download
Define virtual ip in global parameter map
Define local parameter map with type webauth (no custom pages)
SSID using layer 3 webauth mode.
Binding local parameter map to SSID
Link the AAA auth list within the webauth context.

Does anyone have an idea?

Regards,
Patrick

IP http server           and

ip http secure-server

commands are required to web auth.

Hi,

thanks, but I already figured it out. the ip http server statement was missing.

Seems the captive portal won't work with https only.

Regards,

Patrick

Yes, you need to issue the command "ip http server" . Please mark the post as answered if your query is resolved.
