IW3702 Configured as repeater but not routing

Hi there,

We have had to configure an IW3702 in the middle of the Root AP and Client AP eg:

RootAP <----------> RepeaterAP <---------> Client AP

From the repeater I have an established connection between both RootAP and ClientAP, however neither the ClientAP or the RootAP are able to ping each other.

The repeater is part of the same bridge group as the client and root, bridge routing is enabled on the repeater, a default route has been added as well just in case. The Root can see and successfully communicate to the repeater, and we can also access it from the internal network. It appears the repeater is not correctly forwarding the traffic coming from the ClientAP even though there is a successful dot11 association.

Example configuration:

antenna gain 0
station-role repeater
infrastructure-client
!
interface Dot11Radio1.2
encapsulation dot1Q 2 native
bridge-group 1
bridge-group 1 subscriber-loop-control
bridge-group 1 spanning-disabled
bridge-group 1 block-unknown-source
no bridge-group 1 source-learning
no bridge-group 1 unicast-flooding
!
interface GigabitEthernet0.2
encapsulation dot1Q 2 native
bridge-group 1
bridge-group 1 spanning-disabled
no bridge-group 1 source-learning

!

bridge 1 route ip

To add to this, I am able to connect to the ClientAP from the repeater.

Thanks
