Hi, I am currently receive some of the IW3702 and looking on the documentation it has PoE-Out Port. I know to enable it we should apply power from PWR Port. I currently try to implement the IW3702 as Mesh AP connecting to a RAP AP1572EAC. The Mesh link was established but I could not enable the PoE-Out to extend WiFi coverage using another Cisco 3702E as an Indoor AP. So the diagram is like this:
RAP1572EAC -->MeshLink<-- MAP-IW3702 <--UTP--> CiscoIndoorAP3702E
The result is I could power the Cisco Indoor AP3702 but I could not get it join the controller. I also tried to connect PoE-Out Port to a laptop and turns out I was not able to get connected either (MAP-IW3702 is associated with WLC).
I tried to console the IW3702 and I found out that the Gig1 port (PoE-Out Port) was administratively down and I could not enable it using the WLC.
I could enable it manually through console but it is not run as I expected. I have also verified that the UTP link is good
Is there any idea regarding this issue? below is the show interface g1 command that I ran at the IW3702

- Depending on how many antenna's being used the Poe Out port may not provide sufficient power
The port delivers up to 15,4 W ,
Ref : (AP3700 series data sheet) - You may need to restrict the antenna-configuration to 3x3:3 or 2x2:2

Hi,
I am afraid it is not about the power since I could enable it manually through debug capwap console cli. The PoE does supply power to the other device but it could not forward data through. So when enable it manually the data does forward but after I reboot the AP it disabled again.
I could not enable it through WLC and I starting to think that seems like it was intended that by Cisco in other AP mode except RAP mode.
