Jabra 920 headset and Cisco 7941 series

I have previously used a wired Plantronics SupraPlus HW251N headset for my Cisco 7941, but got tired of the wires winding round my chair.

I opted for a Jabra 920 DECT headset and have plugged in "successfully" as instructed.  

I can hear incoming voice, and have my own voice pickup audible in my headset, but the distant caller cannot hear anything from my end.  I have tried the channel positions A-G (both a and G worked fine), and have played with the volume buttons, all to no avail.

The wiring seems straightforward - wire from headset dock to headset input port on phone, the docking signal light glows when I lift headset - but no outgoing volume.

Can any one help me, please?
