Hi
We had some problems with a couple of Flex 7500 series wlc and was thinking of going down from 8.3.x to a MD release. Or maybe 8.0.133 that is also suggested by cisco, even though it's ED.
Will the 2802i still be able to join, just not with full features? Or will it not be able to join at all?
Thanks

Hi Andreas,
2802i AP require minimum version of 8.2.110.0 on WLC.
If you put 8.0.133.0 then it will not join.
Check this matrix list: http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/compatibility/matrix/compatibility-matrix.html

Hi Sandeep,
It was as I feared then.. I check the compability list and was hoping that was just a list of what version you need to have full compability. And that the AP would still join and just use the features available.
But then I know for your. Thank you.

Hi Andreas,
AP will join only if you have the required minimum SW version on WLC.
