Hi,

Can somebody explain to me what the difference is between selecting just Network-Eap as Accept Authentication Type and selecting Open as Accept Authentication Type with Require EAP also selected, for both options with Full Encryption?

Thanks,

Selecting the "Network-EAP" option in "Accept Authentication Type" will enable LEAP authentication

Selecting (a)Open in "Accept Authentication Type." and (b) "Require EAP"(only under open authentication) will enable EAP-TLS authentication (also enables EAP MD5):

If you want to enable both do the following:

i. Check Open in "Accept Authentication Type."

ii. Check "Require EAP" (only under open authentication).

iii. Select the "Network-EAP" option.

If you do this, the access point is configured to allow only LEAP and EAP-TLS/MD5 clients to authenticate to the enterprise wireless LAN network.
