LEAP Using NT User name without password

I've configured my AP wireless device to authenticate using LEAP via Cisco ACS 3.x. everything works fine as long as the NT user ID is associated with a password. However I do have a generic user ID that is used by a quite a few employees and it doesn't require a password. Unfortunately, LEAP seems to refuse to authenticate unless you provide a password. I was able to confirm that by assigning a temporary password to the generic account, and then I was able to authenticate. Is there a way where I can get a round that.

Thanks

I do not think this is possible and more over its a security loophole that you are creating by not having a password.

LEAP is already vulnerable to attacks on weak passwords. Even if it were possible to authenticate a password-less account, you might as well not be running LEAP at all.

What are you trying to accomplish? If you're concerned about the security of your network, you need to take a serious look at your password policy. If you're not concerned, why bother turning LEAP on?
