Licenses issue

Hello,

I am having a problem with cisco smart software manager. Every day I receive an email :

Insufficient Licenses - The Virtual Account "DEFAULT" has a shortage of "Aironet DNA Advantage Term Licenses" licenses. 6 licenses are required to return to compliance.
Insufficient Licenses - The Virtual Account "DEFAULT" has a shortage of "AP Perpetual Networkstack Advantage" licenses. 6 licenses are required to return to compliance.

I have 7 ap with 1 EWC

When I go on the admin webpage of the EWC I got the "Authorization Status" set to "OUT OF COMPLIANCE"

FYI, EWC have internet access for Cisco smart software manager

AP : Cisco Catalyst 9115AXI

IOS : 

Cisco IOS XE Software, Version 16.12.04a

So if you're using it as standalone EWC (no DNAC) then licenses are not required but if the EWC is integrated with DNAC then you do require licenses for each/every AP.  Maybe you've configured something for DNAC on the EWC or maybe a bug in that old software.

From Amsterdam-17.3.2.a and Bengaluru-17.4.1 they've implemented the new Smart Licensing Using Policy licensing model

so consider moving to that.
