Hello,
We have an issue in that too high a number of clients per AP seems to lead to decreased data througput and resulting high latency for some applications on 3702 APs in autonomous mode.
Is there a way to limit the number of clients that may associate on an AP separately per SSID? The (few) clients of one SSID are important to us, while the vast majority connect to the guest SSID. We would like to limit the number of clients on the guest SSID in order to "reserve" some space (in terms of number of clients) for the important devices on the other SSID.
Any help is appreciated. - Thanks!

You can limit number of association per SSID using below command
AAP1(config)#dot11 ssid TEST
AAP1(config-ssid)#max-associations ?
<1-255> association limit

Hi Rasika,
thanks a lot for the quick reply. This sounds good - I will give it a try.

You can also have a look into using QoS for the different SSIDs. That would provide SSID A more airtime than SSID B.

Scratch this, you are using autonomous, then this is not supported.
